Seed Capital: Microkredite for Women

The women are the pillars of the family, they work in the flelds, sell products on the market, take care of the children's education. With mini-credits as starting capital, they have the opportunity to expand their small agriculture, like the woman in the photo who cooks palm oil to sell it. Or, for example, to contribute to the family's livelihood with a sewing machine. A local women's circle will administer the money, and only members can take out a loan. Thus, the women's circle is also the controlling body for the fund. The loan is interest-free and is repaid in small rates.
Excavation and preparatory work for drilling

Water: Construction of a latrine

A latrine with 6 cabins and a hand washing facility is also already in Gatihomé because, as in all rural areas of Togo, there are no toilets.
